1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Interlinked Art's commission site, operated by myself, Interlinked. By accessing, browsing, or commissioning work through this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use this Site or commission work from me.2. Commission Process & Agreement
Request & Agreement: A commission is initiated when you submit a request and I accept it. My acceptance is confirmed via email or official platform message, creating a binding contract governed by these Terms.Communication: All official communication, quotes, and project details will be provided via email.Pricing & Payment: All prices are listed in USD. Prices are subject to change; the price quoted at the time of commission acceptance is binding.Payment Schedule: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to begin work. The final balance is due before the delivery of the final, high-resolution artwork. Payments are processed via PayPal.Revisions: I include 3 rounds of minor revisions at the sketch and/or color flat stage. Major changes after approval or excessive revisions may incur additional fees.Timeline: I will provide an estimated completion date. While I strive to meet deadlines, they are estimates. Rush fees may apply for expedited work.3. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:Provide clear, concise, and complete reference materials and descriptions.Respond to updates and approval requests in a timely manner (typically within 7 business days). Delays may extend the project timeline.Make payments according to the agreed schedule.Only request work that you have rights to (e.g., original characters or content you own/have permission to use).4. Copyright & Usage Rights (Licensing)
This is a critical section. Please read carefully.Artist Retains Copyright: The Artist retains all copyright and intellectual property rights to the commissioned artwork, including the right to display, reproduce, and use the artwork for self-promotion in portfolios, social media, print, and other media.Client's Personal Use License: Upon full payment, the Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license for personal, non-commercial use. This typically includes:Using the artwork as a profile picture, wallpaper, or in personal social media posts (with credit to the Artist).Printing a copy for personal display.What it does NOT include (without an additional Commercial License):Reselling, redistributing, or licensing the artwork to third parties.Using the artwork for commercial purposes (e.g., merchandise, advertising, logos, books, games).Claiming the artwork as your own creation or removing signatures/watermarks.Creating NFTs or other blockchain-based assets from the artwork.Commercial License: If you intend to use the artwork for commercial purposes, you must purchase an extended Commercial License for an additional fee. Contact me for details.Credit: Where reasonable, please credit me as Art by InterlinkedArt when displaying the work publicly.5. Refund & Cancellation Policy
By the Artist: I reserve the right to cancel a commission at any time for any reason. If canceled by me, the Client will receive a full refund of any amount paid.By the Client:Before work begins: The Client may cancel at any time before the initial sketch is approved for a full refund of the deposit.After work begins: The deposit is non-refundable. If canceled after sketches are approved, no further refunds will be issued for work completed up to that point.After completion: No refunds are issued after the final artwork is delivered and approved.6. Prohibited Content
I reserve the right to refuse any commission request. I will not create artwork that is:Hateful, discriminatory, or excessively violent.Politically or socially inflammatory in a way that conflicts with our values.7. Artwork Delivery & Format
Final artwork will be delivered digitally via email.Files will be provided in PNG/JPEG format at a resolution suitable for the intended personal use. Source files (e.g., .PSD, .SAI) are not included.8. Limitation of Liability
The Site and its content are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Site or the commissioned artwork.9. Changes to Terms
I may revise these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.10. Contact Information
